Gareth Mitchell | Swansea
Gareth rejoined CATS as Principal of the Swansea Schools in 2019
Having graduated from ArtsEd, London and working extensively in theatre, Gareth returns to Swansea and to his family at Class Act Theatre School 10 years of working as a professional performer.
Since returning to Swansea, Gareth has been working hard to continue the work of his teacher, mentor and friend and to develop his teaching and directorial skills. As well as directing and choreographing the Swansea shows; Annie, The Music Man, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and High School Musical, Gareth has also been working with the UAL Level 4 team at Gower College. In his short time there, he has Choreographed “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change!” and Created and Directed, “Reign: The Seven Ages of Woman”
In 2021, Gareth returned to the stage as Anna in Polkadot Pantomimes production of Cinderella- reigniting his love of performing. Since then, he has returned to he role each year and in 2023 was nominated for a UK Pantomime Association Award in the “Best Sister’s” Catagory.
