Engaging show impressed me

Engaging show impressed me

South Wales Evening Post, 8 September 2010

I notice in the Evening Post (Become a Class Act, p10, Sept 3) that Swansea's Class Act Theatre School is beginning a new term and is planning a panto in December.

As a new fan, may I wish them the very best?

In July I travelled from my home in London to the Grand Theatre to see a CATS production of the Jason Robert Brown musical 13.

As an ardent supporter of Brown’s work I was convinced and impressed by the quality and professionalism of the cast.

I first saw 13 on Broadway in 2008 and have since followed Brown’s work at professional and amateur level.

The CATS 13 was as engaging as any I have seen. The energy and dynamism of the cast was impressive and the choreography was very successful.

The finale was superb, showcasing the entire cast.
