PUMPKIN carriages have been cast aside in Pontardawe this Christmas, with Cinderella racing to the ball on the back of a motorbike.
Swansea firm JT’s Motorbikes has helped to bring the much-loved pantomime into the 21st Century by teaming up with organisers at Pontardawe Arts Centre and Swansea’s Class Act Theatre School (Cats) and offering one of their bikes to be used as a new mode of transport for the fairytale princess.
Cinderella actress Cerys Thompson, aged 15, from West Cross, said: “I don’t know much about motorbikes but I know it’s going to be great fun having one on stage for every performance.”
Cats proprietor, Jill Williams, is also delighted and thankful to JT’s for their contribution.
