CATS Pontardawe prides itself on top-quality Theatre tuition with a caring approach.

Weekly classes take place in Pontardawe Arts Centre on Saturday mornings during term time with the emphasis being on the creative development of children and young people in a welcoming and safe environment. Terms consists of students developing skills with drama being the main focus, students learning vocal and speech skills, movement and singing techniques or focusing on preparation for our yearly show that takes place in July.

We, as a school take pride in creating outstanding productions whilst also upholding the CATS ethos based on quality, fun, innovation, inclusiveness, loyalty and strong ensemble performances. After three years as Resident Director on Disney’s The Lion King UK Tour – Jill is returning to Class Act Theatre School Pontardawe. Having launched the schools in 1999 – and handing the reigns to Gareth and Amber in 2018/19 respectively, Jill is delighted to be once again, leading the Pontardawe Arts Centre classes.
